Everyone loves taking about themselves. That’s a truism from psychology 101. So our course for agents seeing a mailer where people have said nice things about them or given testimonials looks amazing. They also love to show off all the homes they have sold…

It’s pretty unlikely anyone would self-mail out a critical review of their services… Hummmm

And all of those homes?.... We’ll it’s good to know that agent is making a lot of money….. But there isn’t anything mentioning the value or saving to the customer is there?

In a nut-shell… It’s all about “Them”

My husband and I just recently drove up to Leavenworth from Monroe for our wedding anniversary. 


The drive took a little over 1.5 hours from Monroe to the town of Leavenworth

Some quick facts about Leavenworth, according to  


Leavenworth is a small, beautifully designed, old world Alpine/Bavarian style village. If you envision a small town, somewhere in Germany, nestled in a narrow valley and surrounded by snow-covered mountains. Leavenworth could be that very place.

We stayed at a cute little VRBO (vacation rental by owner) cabin with no more than a 20 min walk into town. There we had a beautiful view of the Wenatchee River. We started each morning with a cup

Back In The Saddle Again 


It's almost time for the Evergreen State Fair in Monroe. The Evergreen State Fair is held at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds and runs from August 26th, 2021, to Sep 6th, 2021


The Hours of Operation for the carnival will be from 

Aug 26-31 & Sept 2-5 is from 11AM-11PM

Sept 1,   they will be CLOSED 

Sept 6,   11am -7pm

Some quick facts about Monroe History:  According to City Town  Info, it mentions that 


The earliest non-Native Americans settled in this area during the 1860s. The Great Northern Railroad was introduced in this area in the 1880s which lead to the establishment of the city. It was originally named Tye City. The name was later changed to Monroe, in honor of President James Monroe. The City of Monroe was officially incorporated in December 1902.


Monroe's nearby attractions include things like Woods Creek, the Skykomish River Centennial Park, and many more other attractions like the FastTrax Indoor Raceway

Everyone bring your popcorn because Monroe has free movie nights at Lake Tye on Fridays for the next few weeks. This is a beautiful time and place to bring everyone and anyone, and it's FREE! A projector plays the movies on a giant screen outdoors at the park (weather permitting). Beforehand there is music and food is available.


According to the website at Monroe, Wa  on Friday, August 13th:

Come join the community for our free Movies Under the Moon event, this week's showing is Frozen II (PG 103 minutes). Big Heart Big Smile will be running a free craft for kids beginning at 8:00pm. The park's concession stand will be open for drinks, food and snacks prior to the movie which will begin at dusk. Bring a chair or blanket and the family…
